My fellow Pratchetters will know what I mean when I say I love Death.
Mort is one of my favorite Discworld books, and the second one I would kill to see made into a movie. (My first choice still has to be Going Postal.) Free for use. ----- Discworld/Death(C)TerryPratchett Artwork by the amazing Paul Kidby |

To live in this world and indulge in its pleasures is to taint the purity of one's soul. Allegedly.
I know! Apparently they've done a couple of his stories as TV movies in the UK. I'm a little torn between wanting to see them and not, in case they're terrible and soil my opinion of Pratchettdom. I'll probably give in, but even so who knows if they'll ever get over to the U.S. As usual YouTube saves the day, huh?

I love going postal. I'm not sure why, but it's really awesome. x3

I'm a member of Team Erik. Because a mysterious man living in the basement of an opera house wearing a mask is a hell of a lot more believable than sparkling vampires.
Gah! The moon thing was awesome. I read that part twice. ^^ My second favorite scene was the one where Cohen whacks the dice in half in the bet with the gods. That Pratchett's a witty guy.
No prob. I did give in and watched the first half of The Colour of Magic, which I haven't read yet actually, and it's not too bad. They cast Rincewind quite differently than I imagined him (I'm too influenced by Kidby, methinks) but he's played pretty well.
It'd still be great to see a *doom* MAJOR MOTION PICTURE *doom* version of a Pratchett book, though.

As long as Rincewind remains the lazy cowardly bastard that we know and love, I'm happy.
But that aside, if they did make a movie it'd have to be the Last Hero and I hope they don't epicly rape it like they did the Harry Potter movies T_T. But I'm wondering who they could possibly get to play the ever clever Lord Vetinari. >_>

I'm the same way. I have to raid the public library for Pratchettness, otherwise I couldn't afford it. Someday I intend to go buy a couple of my favorites, though. Which books have you read?
